Atlanta, Georgia, Feb. 10 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Porsche 911 is the highest-ranked model for trouble-free ownership in JD Power’s 2022 U.S. Vehicle Reliability Study (VDS), released today. It was the second year in a row that the sports car icon has won the study honors and the third time in the last four years. The Porsche Cayenne ranked as the most reliable in its upper-midsize premium SUV segment.

The study, now in its 33rd year, measures the number of problems per 100 vehicles (PP100) experienced over the past 12 months by original owners of three-year-old vehicles. A lower score reflects higher reliability. This year’s study was based on 2019 model year vehicles.
The Porsche 911 arrived with 94 PP100s, the fewest of any model in the automotive sector. Porsche ranked number three among premium brands.
